Alright, Im deciding to get a tattoo in about a week. But I have no clue what to get. I want something Irish and ND.

Does anyone have any ideas that could help me out?

Just get rid of the .com, and you can just have it say Irish on the banner, or replace it with completely with Notre Dame.

Yeah I was thinking about that....with the fighting Irish lep kind of faded inside of the clove.

I wouldn't get the leprechaun because that's what most people get. Where are you putting the tat because that makes a difference in what you should get.

I have 3 ND tats...but this is my most recent. On my right forearm.

Half the fun is going to the shop and getting ideas. If it's a good shop, they'll draw your design/idea right there for your approval and as they say...the rest is history.

True. But I think Im going to do the idea I had in mind with that Irishenvy logo. Take the .com out and the Irish envy out. Replace that with Irish and try to get a section of the fighting irish faded into the shamrock.

Anybody good at photoshop?

The new leprechaun design...nice. I was thinking of doing the same thing, but have been procrastinating. Me and the wife are thinking about getting something done for our 15th anniversary this week, so that'll probably come first.

and why not? we're all irish here;)

you could get a ND or something instead.

but I don't know. I like other people's ideas, but I'm not so great with coming up with them on my own. And if I weren't a coward and afraid of needles, I would get something myself at some point.

OK...funny story...

A close friend of mine out here is African American. We went to ND together.

One fine Saturday (back around 2000 or so) we are watching ND Football and the Black Leprechaun comes running out on the field.

My buddy, completely deadpan says "Did I just see a black Leprechaun?"

I said, "Yeah, I think you did."

He says, "That's not MY Notre Dame."

I about fell off the couch laughing.

One of my best friends is a big as hell, Fubu rockin, somewhat scary lookin black dude with the following tats...

- Grumpy Bear sitting on a cloud on his left shoulder...
- Spider man flying out of his right shoulder...
- Autobots symbol on fire over his heat...
- and two "P.M."s criss crossing each other on his back... one for "Pimp Mode Squad" our college Frat's secondary name and the other for "Pokemon"

if my boy can pull that off you can pull of a lep. for real
