I didn't get to see the game, but I always try to check the final stats. When I saw them this morning I noticed that, on defense, Ronald Talley had a tackle. Is this true???? Can some enlighten me on this situation. I saw these stats on und.com.

I agree it was probably Brown who made the tackle....Talley is gone.

It was Brown, who is of similar build to Talley. Additionally, Brown did have a tackle late in the game.

Actually I believe he was in on two plays as Trev Alberts actually pointed him out.

pretty much und is not very good with their stats. they consistently mess up the participatoin lists, and they often credit stats to the wrong people. well, i guess it's not really und's fault, it's whoever is giving the info to them that is wrong a lot.

Actually, Justin had the most spectacular tackle of the game.
Not the hardest hit, mind you, but the most spectacular takedown.
The RB ran into him burying his head into Justin's chest. Instead of being blown back like you would think he should have, he bent backwords with his feet firmly planted, like in cement, then thrust his body forward while wrapping up the RB, lifting him off the ground and planting him on his back.
A pure, physical power move.
It sure had Charlie grinnin'.
Me too.

During the game I was checking out the ESPN gameplan, and they 'muffed' on a couple of the missed PAT's. In the play-by-play view, they even now show the 3rd and 5th TD's being converted (actually show the score going to 21 to 3, and 34-3 only to modify it on the next line). Also, the Lambert Int-Return for TD was described as a made FG by Air Force.

I kept checking back, and they weren't correcting the stats. Whoever was typing that crap must have been drinking 80proof or something.

I meant to put this in the old Talley thread but never did. There was speculation that Talley's quitting the team was due to more PT for the younger guys. Not so.

He was asked to more inside to bolster the DLine next year. He apparently felt that careerwise DE was his best shot at the next level and unlike Anthony Weaver, Melvin Dansby, Zorich and a host of others he didn't make the move but rather chose to move on to a different school.
