And he should be.

His pet project in Zaire, again, cost him a game.

His ego is on display at this point. I've been a huge Kelly supporter. For the first time, between pulling Folsten and benching Kiser, it's a show around him.

Kelly has had a dumpster fire of a season. This is the kind to get a coach fired. However he won 10 games last year, so it's a tough call for the U.

Putting in Zaire at the time he did it was stupid. I think you work him in a few packages each game, but don't put a cold non-producing QB in at the end of a game. That was completely asinine.

I don't know who is the answer, I know 110% it is not BK. Team is sloppy and unprepared and finds new ways to lose every week. So many problems they are not worth listing but we have more talent than all 7 teams we have played but are 2-5 because of horrible coaching.

Stanford and ND are complete opposites of each other. Stanford is the "program" and has a culture. ND has a soft culture and no identity whatsoever under Kelly. They need to clean house of this coaching staff at this point.

In SEVEN years under Kelly, Notre Dame will have finished ranked in the top 10 ONCE. And the only time they did they got absolutely embarrassed by Alabama.

Kelly has proven to be a guy who is very good at coming into a program and have them peaking in year 3. He has no experience at the D1 level of sustaining a program. Not sure what his issues are but it's clear he's not the guy.

You can't switch QBs, no matter how bad Kizer was (and he was bad). The D played very well. The meltdown was bizarre but that's the way the season has gone.

I am officially done with BK, but if he had smacked Shaw upside the head, I would have been all for keeping him around a bit longer.

BK needs to go? Too much offensive talent is going to waste with the constant slow developing vertical passing game with make them so predictable. The playcalling is awful as are the fundamentals especially on defense. The culture is soft and its obvious the S&C needs to be modernized with much more functional weight training. Gym muscles which more or less only make you stronger at weight lifting and not much else.

ND needs to step up even more now then ever and start paying coaches like they do in the SEC. They need to go out and over pay to get one of the truly elite coaches. ND shouldn't lower the academic requirements and because of those standards it will turn many top coaches off from taking the job and thats why ND needs to bite the bullet and overpay as the cost of business the get coach that can coach as well as recruit at an elite level.

Lat time,ND went out and got the "hot" coach out there in Kelly. There's probably only 3 slam dunk coaches out there, Saban, Meyer , and Harbaugh (Peterson is heading there). Everyone else is not a sure thing, IMO.
