We played like shit and won by 21 on the road against a P5 team.
Little quick with this takeWe all know who is relevant.
Yeah, I went over and it was an interview with Marcus Freeman what the fuckabc just cut last 2 minutes of our game?
We lost by 30.What happened? I passed out
Completely agree. We gave them a score via penalties, had a huge penalty differential, played like shit, dropped some passes but the secondary was on fire with the 3 picks. The refs did us no favors. The picks weren't errant throws, the secondary just had great timing. We played like shit and won by 21 on the road against a P5 team.
Lack of pressure on the QB is concerning
Trust me, it was for 3.5 quarters. Then it got fun.On DVR, this was a very relaxing game...live...would have been tougher
He played during mop up time.So was Clarence Lewis hurt today?
Reffing was infuriating. I was ready to see a torrent of nonsense about joining the Big 10 if we had lost.I saw plenty of pressure, but ND applied pressure to contain Armstrong and force him to make plays from the pocket and not let him run wild. They had to play more restrained on the edges because they couldn't risk breaking contain. That's how Armstrong beats you.
It also didn't help that NC State's OL spent 3 quarters pulling ND's DL to the ground by their jerseys. I was getting super tired seeing guys like Botelho, Cross and Mills get pulled and it almost never getting called.
People need to realize we’re playing 6 in the box to stop run with and we’re stopping the run. That’s impressive. You can’t rush the qb like some with less in the box unless it’s a clear passing situation. We’re collapsing the pocket and make the qb normally have to make quick decisions. Armstrong hurt us most when we let him escape pocket a few timesWe are getting pressure we just aren’t getting sacks.
We ran by Caleb Williams so much last year. Didn't understand it.They did not shed the guy that’s true but with a running qb u have to cognizant of rushing past the qb and letting him loose.
