Anyone notice how quickly the game went?

The PA announcer even exclaimed at the end of the game, the game was completed in "THREE HOURS!!!"

Gotta love the spread for that alone.

Beautiful day. Section 24 represented. We stood up very much. Only heard one "sit down" all game, it was early. Should have my voice back soon.

I thought the crowd sounded MUCH louder on NBC than it has in the past. TV timeouts seemed less annoying as well.

Biggest improvement, IMO, was Mike Mayock in the booth. He was an order of magnitude better than Haden and actually made Hammond-eggs semi-competent for a change. I did not need to mute the volume once (that hasn't happened since about 1994).

I knew Desmond would do that. Im just suprised Mark May has ND winning 9 games this year.
I also enjoyed Mayock in the booth. Everything sounded smooth and ran well for game 1.

something that i thought was pretty cool, although not directly related to the game play. but when all the starters on offense were out there. The receivers numbers and RB were 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9.

not one double digit number, something new that i seen, when all of them are single digits.
