They're much more athletic, they can generate a pass rush unlike us, and they don't turn the ball over. Sure if we play well and don't turn the ball over it's a close game, but we're going to be a turnover team with Tommy. We can't act like that's not part of who we are.

How did we go from being more athletic last year to this? That isn't it. Soft with no qb play is the difference.

Sorry but tommy sucks if he is the best we got then we got nothing. I believe malik should play here on oht because Tommy is not capable and never has been. For thos who believe in Tommy you probably believe on Santa as well. Tommy was the difference today he isn't good enough..................

I agree, but we gain nothing and go backwards with Hendrix or Zaire . It is was it is. tommy is below average as is Hendrix and Malik is a lefty freshman. The bend but don't break defensive has WAY to much bend in it and is pathetically slow. This is a average team that assuming this game is lost will lose 2 possibly 3 more. Positive is the running game showed life and take away 3 turnover who I throw 100% responsibility on Reese for 1 of those he gets 50% on the other 2. This game is winnable

Some upside for playing Hendrix or Zaire would be to simply get them ready for next year & try to get the offense in some type of rhythm & identity for next season. were not doing nothing this season might as well start preparing for next.

Kelly is amongst the best winning percentage coaches in all of college football in the past 10-15 years. The truth is that if he can't win here, not so sure anybody can.

They had just over 450 yards of offense. Tommy deserves blame, but this defense can take it's fair share too IMO.

I saw our online control them their defense when we committed to the run.

But we are soft on both lines. That's on the coaches. Same reason we couldn't do anything against Purdue. Soft. That isn't athletic ability. This won't ever change with Kelly here.

Our middle LBs do stink which is on Kelly and diaco.

I liked Rees this whole year and last but today he played like the Tommy everybody hated.
