The school I work at had to be put on lockdown because there was a credible threat against us and our students who all have autism/asperger syndrome, like the Sandy Hook shooter. What the hell is wrong with people?

...And now just got a phone blast from the Superintendent of our school district that our district schools are getting threats. Fantastic... Words like "major police involvement" and "we presume that your kids will be safe" are so reassuring.

I've been hearing from my co-workers that schools in this area have been going under lockdown, too, from lots of threats being called in. And parents pulling their kids from school out of fear of a copycat...

I saw this and it is crazy, I thought I'd take a quick look and was glued to it the whole time. I'm not saying I believed everything but there are definitely some questionable things here.

Our media is complicit in every problem our country faces. Our news stations are controlled by the major conglomerates which drive policy and essentially buy our legislators and judges. Watched the first 6:30 of this video and they get a few things wrong. First, the man arrested in the woods was identified as a janitor at the school. He was seen running away from the scene when the cops arrived, which most people would do, and was arrested because the police had no idea what was going on. When they figured out he wasn't involved, he was released. Second, they mention that Adam Lanza had no previous experience with guns when it has been widely reported that his mother taught him how to shoot and handle guns. I find it absolutely sickening that people would think this is all a hoax/conspiracy to push a political agenda.

Like the invasion of Iraq, or the war in Vietnam? Installing the Shah in Iran, numerous coups/assassinations in Central and South America? The list goes on. I'm not saying it happened at Sandy Hook, but the idea that the U.S. government has never lied to its people to get what it wanted is bullshit. I think questioning official accounts should be done more thoroughly by our media but it doesn't happen, and then when people do begin to question things they are branded as crazy conspiracy theorists. Again, I'm not saying Sandy Hook is a giant conspiracy, but we have zero investigative journalism anymore in regard to important issues. We'll dig up some **** on celebrities and athletes, but very little in terms of our government and our massive corporations.

But out of respect for those presumed to be victims, I think the conspiracy doesn't deserve to be here.

I don't think that's fair.

I do have a thread already addressing many theories, and I myself have watched this one about a week ago and I almost posted it; but I felt it was way too soon and that it would affect emotional people.

^ This. Makes me sick to think that people are calling the murder of those innocent children a government conspiracy. They need to put themselves in the shoes of the family members who lost their loved ones and stop the bullshit.
