Notre Dame’s class of 14 orally committed players for 2010 is ranked eighth nationally, according to Rivals. com, a national Internet recruiting service. It has one five-star player in New Jersey defensive end Chris Martin. It includes five four-star players and eight three-star players.

By contrast, Texas’ top-ranked class has 20 commitments with no five-star players but 16 four-star players. LSU is No. 2 with 20 commitments, 13 four-stars and zero five-stars. Oklahoma is third with 19, 10 and zero. Florida is No. 4 with 15 commitments, 11 four-stars and one five star.

Time to go get some big boys for up front, that and Barr, Shirley would make this class a top 4 class IMO. (Especially Henderson, Kouandjoi (SP?), and St. Thomas aquinas guard, cant remember name?)

Josh Shirley would be a very good, efficient pickup..would be nice to see him come aboard.

I would love to see Shirley wearing the blue and gold. Kid is a beast that seems like he loves to hit.
