Lombard out to tackle and bring Elmer in to guard.

Stanley. Hanratty. Martin. Elmer. Lombard.

Elmer at guard keep Lombard at guard. Let's see what Big Mike can do at RT. I think with Mike in the OL has a higher ceiling. IMO Hanratty is best as a back up.

Looking ahead to the 3 upcoming big games, Stanford is also on a bye this week and playing Washington Huskies the week before Oct. 4th. Huskies will likely be 4-0 going into that game, but I don't know that they'll challenge Stanford much.

UNC has a rough schedule ahead of our game with them. East Carolina, Clemson, VT, Notre Dame, no BYE inbetween.

FSU has a weak schedule, but no BYE week before our game either. They have Clemson, NC State, Wake Forest, Syracuse, ND.

That four game stretch for UNC would be hard for any team in the country, considering 3 of the 4 games are on the road. Tougher than our 3 game stretch of Stanford, UNC, and FSU IMO

How I've been accused of trolling and this cat hasn't... Geez, you guys seem awfully full of oneself

Maybe people think that you can be rehabilitated, and he can't?

So they just ignore him, but try to point you back to the path of the righteous?

If injuries continue to pile on, the OL doesn't get better, and the suspended players don't return: 8-4

I think ND loses to Stanford, UNC, FSU, and one of the final four games. ASU worries me the most of the four, but I'm withholding that judgement until they get through their next few games (UCLA, USC, and Stanford). If the above scenario happens, there's a legitimate chance that ND stumbles down the stretch. Depth has been a concern since day one. It's only getting worse. I'm not going to pump my chest about Rice, UM, and Purdue. This team still has some major flaws that better teams will expose. The bye week came at a great time. Lets get healthy, get prepared, and get our guys back.

10-2, not because I'm particularly thrilled with ND this year, but because I haven't been blown away watching any of our opponents, either. USC getting run up and down the field by BC made them look terribly slow and exposed utter lack of depth on defense. That, in turn, made Stanford's victory less impressive.
