Anyone who has played competitive sports even at the high school level knows there are some losses that just stick with you. They are frustrating, disappointing, annoying... just all around the kind of loss you can't shake until you play the next game.

When that next game comes, one of two things happens. You either come out firing, take out all of that pent up aggression on the opposing team and never look back... or you run into adversity early, let the doubts and frustration creep back in, and the next thing you know it's another stinker of a game.

What I'm wondering is, after a loss like we had last weekend, what type of game are you expecting this weekend? Do you think we are going to come out and stomp Tulsa and maybe pull out an upset or two towards the end of the season? Or do you think we're going to play a stinker and collapse down the stretch?

For my money I'm not sure which I'm leaning towards.

i think we win against tulsa and go into the bye week with a positive attitude towards facing a top ten utah team in a couple of weeks.

i think we play Utah hard as hell and they'll go home very sore whether they win or lose. we beat Army and play another knock down drag out with usc.

the team bounced back from a deflating 3 game losing streak quite nicely and i think they do the same here.

Down but not out.

I am hoping this season was/is a roller coaster of progression. I hope we are that team that is still learning and has its bad weeks, good weeks, and still looking for that great week where they pull a upset.

I think the team will bounce back, just because of Kelly and his track record.

Utah is going down!

I think we come out this week and beat on Tulsa. I just have a feeling that these coaches and players know how important it is to get back to winning. The best thing they can do is stay focused this week and do their best to put the Navy game behind us. I would love to see this team rebound and finish the season on a positive note.

We usually start pretty fast on O, and seem pretty live on defense early...so I think the former is a more likely scenario (although the definition of stomp is up in the air)...but anymore, predictions around this team are really tough.

mick1 wasn't me, i was originally themick about two years ago until i got permanently banned, i've been mick2 ever since.

mick2 has had his arguments but is much older and more mature now, mick2 also realizes that crying all week isnt gonna change the outcome of the past saturdays game.

mick2 also likes talking in the third person, mick2 thinks he will do that more often.

mick2 says thank you
