Per BK yesterday, all seniors eligible have applied for a 5th year.
There are nine total, and Ruffer has received a scholarship, so eight "decisions" remain.

2010 starters:
Harrison Smith (S)
Gary Gray (CB)
Taylor Dever (OT)

Assuming those three are locks, there will be 3 scholarships left for the remaining five and any other recruits we might pickup.

Andrew Nuss (OG)
Matt Romine (OT)
Mike Ragone (TE)
Emeka Nwankwo (DE)
Steve Paskorz (ILB)

Savon Huggins (RB)
Troy Niklas (TE)
Bryce Haynes (LS)

Out of those listed above, I gotta say: Nuss, Romine, Ragone.

Yup, positions where the depth is needed most. I think we probably get Niklas and maybe Haynes... then the numbers get tricky as I think Nuss, Romine and Ragone all provide value.

I'd have to list the three:

1. Nuss - Can provide flexibility and depth on the line, play both inside and out
2. Ragone - Invaluable in 2 TE sets, he is the only truly adept blocking TE we have.
3. Romine - Has been a relative disappointment, and seems limited to OT, where we have most depth.

and if we get Niklas?

My cross-eyed bet: 1].long-snapper signs; 2] Romine gets extension; 3].Kelly decides between Nuss and Ragone depending on how far along he thinks Welch is; flips coin...it's Nuss. Second team O-line becomes: Romine, Lombard [close behind Watt], Golic, Nuss, Nichols. Kelly makes comment after spring ball: "We've got ten guys there who can play winning football; I'm not sure yet if they can play championship football". [postscript: Wenger comes to his senses and after several serious concussions decides not to try it even if NCAA grants him a 6th year.]
