they have a lot of cash freed up since they traded beckett who was a cancer, gonzales, crawford, and punto can get some good players with the amount of flexibility that they have with the cash they have to spend

Lots of work to do with the roster, not a good offseason for free agents. Would have preferred they go w Ausmus or Dave Martinez from the Rays. We'll see.

Being from Toronto there has been talk of this for a while(Farrell managed the Jays last season), I heard we were asking for a starting pitcher in return which would have been a huge help since our pitching staff was dessimated last year. Our GM seems to be making some decent moves so hopefully we can pull off a season like Baltimore or Tampa and get some post season action.
