Once these guys hit the award circuit they usually become friendly. Troy is probably happy for him because he knows he has the Heisman coming on Saturday anyway.

I would like to see him go to the Lions. The Lions are one of my favorite NFL teams. It would be interesting to see with Mike Martz calling the shots on offense.

Would have been funny if Quinn replied to Fowlest's comment "hey still a tough one in New Orleans, you realize LSU has a tough D" with "Well you guys at Game Day have been slamming us all year so why stop now" - but of course Quinn has too much class for that.

I'm really starting to hate Fowler....he's a friggin' punk. Good to see BQ win this award. I didn't watch the whole show. Saw only Smith win the O'Brien and Calvin win the Freddy B (yeah, I'm not sure how to spell his last name).

It's just too bad that the "best player in college football" as designated by the Maxwell award, won't also win the most prestigious award, the Heisman. Somehow that just doesn't seem right.
