I know I'm not the only one who thinks Rhema and MoSto look like they play in slow motion, so this will be good news for all of you.

Notre Dame has landed Martin Frierson, a 6'2" receiver who runs the 40 in 4.47. Finally, someone who may be able to get us some big plays and be an every down receiver.

Only time will tell.

The Gem of the receivers thus far...

is David Nelson. He is a great catch and he recruits kids to come to ND!

My only thing is he looks slow in video I've seen of him. Remember that Slo Mo Stovall was a All-American and he has looked average, mainly because he cannot shake receivers IMO.

We need speed! Hopefully Nelson is quicker then his video looks. I want some receivers that make me go

You know who Nelson reminds me of? Jeff S. Looks like Nelson will be a very good possession receiver. Grimes and Frierson will be the burners and game breakers.

I felt we offered Frierson to soon. DJ hord who's a top 10 WR recruit is very interested in ND, but now that we already have 3 receivers committed, he may not wanna come... Frierson is a nice prospect with good speed and size, but he's not a national blue chip recruit like nelson, and Hord. However ND is deep in the wide receiver department with stoval, and Rhema for anther year, Jeff S another two and Chris Vaughn the freshman who was a huge steal last year.

I think Nelson is our better prospect. He may look like he's in slow motion but he's wide open a lot of the time.

I'm not worried about being open. Until we get a true every down big play threat, our running game will continue to be up and down. That guy could unlock A LOT of things.
