Purdue Game Roll Call

Who's coming to the game? I got lucky when my wife's uncle got us 2 tix as a congrats for our new jobs.

The tickets are actually on the field, behind one of the endzones. He feels bad because I guess you can't see some of the action and some people don't like being down there, and those were the only tickets he could get at such a late notice. But I'm thinking it will be awesome to be on the field? Am I being foolish? Do those 'seats' suck? If anyone's ever had tickets there, let me know how you liked it.

Anyway, who's making the trip?

I will be attending with two of my brothers. Little nervous about the whole sit down and don't cheer thing. I'm used to going to Raider games, which are pretty much the exact opposite of that.

Yeah I hear ya. We have 6 tickets and I'm going with my brother and 4 of his dumb friends. A few of them have never been to a game but I've seen them get wrecked at Bears games. Might have to explain a some of the ground rules which is kind of sad. "hey guys don't drink too much, cheer too loud, stand up ever or make direct eye contact with any old people. Then you should be fine".

My favorite Purdue game will always be the 1966 game, when Purdue was a serious rival and ND was an elite program. Ara unveiled the Hanratty to Seymour passing attack. Perfect day.
