As far as conferences goes, I think we could put everyone independent so when people get promoted we can adjust th schedule regarding. Or we adjust the conferences after the coaching carousel is set and done... Regardless this is going to be a lot of fun.

In my experiences with online dynasties, I've found the fewer human vs human games the better.

Custom schedule 2-3 games a season max.

It takes forever for those games to get in, there are always disputes if the week/game has to be simmed, and people lose interest quickly because of it.

Especially if we're both offensive or defensive coord, we'd be watching the other guy play.


Besides, once we all get promoted or take better jobs we'd split up anyway.

I'd be cool with ACamp doing it. As far as O$U, EA should view them and the possible sanctions and knock them down to a 3 star lol! Does EA have sanctions and penalties? I seem to remember something about that maybe 2 years ago?

Exactly. Thats why I'm for playing humans in the early "non-conference" games and then meeting up in bowls at the end of the year. That just avoids those problems you mentioned.

And I'm all for ACamp. 25 dollar buy in should be solid.

Gezzz you guys keep trying to raise the buy in! It's a game. I think I'm good, but I don't know about "I'm so good that even though I don't have a job I'll put up 25 and take the whole pot" good. lol

Do we know if other schools offer coord jobs if you start as one, or can you only advance as head coach?

There should be a rule that you can't accept an Irish coord job if offered only the head gig.

You get offered other Coordinator positions...at least from the video and screenshots I have seen that seems to be the case...
Taking either Irish coordinator job would definitely give you a leg up...but that'd just mean you earned it...

I don't know how I feel about that...the group will have to vote.

Also, I hate to brag (no, I don't), but I'm about to finish up year one of my Vandy dynasty where I'm about to win the Sugar Bowl. I beat that absurdly talented Bama team in the SEC championship.

Yes you earned it, but if it does give that person the inside track then the race/dynasty could be over very shortly. I guess I'd like to see how the game plays out before I make my vote. I'm guessing we'll wait a few days to start once it comes out...let people play a bit, try teams out, wait for rosters to be published?!

Irishpat...the entire idea of the buy in is to reward the first person to land the notre dame job...we're starting out as coordinators at a 3star or lower prestige school and working our way up the ranks to land the notre dame head coaching job. This challenge should last 2 seasons or more...im banking on more. 45 games into it one of us may just get lucky and nail it.

I for one think if you get offered a Irish coord position, you'd be a fool not to take it. But if the whole point is to land the head coaching gig, (and we're gambling) then yeah, I say we can't take it. Only for head coach.

After the patch I switched to Al-American with custom sliders from OS as well.

But before the last patch, Heisman wasn't terribly difficult for me to score on.
