We could possibly have 2 conferences and have the top team from each play in a BCS, right? Seeing as you get to pick what conferences play for bowls.

I might be arguing my own case, but I just thought of the idea.


Edit: It wouldn't be arguing my own case if we did that and used the two weakest conferences in football, though. Say, the MAC and the Sun Belt?

I'd prefer people who play legit to make up the whole if the flip is only IE peps and one or two of us put our fastest DB at QB and run the same play 95 percent of the time...

I would think so, but I'll play...period. I'd probably prefer something not too big anyways. Just some good, reliable IE people.

I'm not trying to insult you haha I just got confused with the "flip" part of the sentence. Care to explain that? What I got from your sentence was the fact that you don't want cheesers, and I agree, but what are you saying about IE people? I'm just a bit confused

I'd say I agree, but I think I'd like only legit IE players because I don't care if we have 12 in our league. I think 6+ though.

Or if the other people who join are willing to be recruited to IE, I'm down for that.

Like what Acamp said, putting your DB in at QB and running the same play over and over..

Exploiting a bug, Dropping back 25 yards every play, going for it on 4th and long every time, onside kicks every time.. you get the picture.

Mainly, you want to play like you would see a team do on Saturday. You can totally adopt your own strategy and go with it.. ie running a triple option exclusively etc.. but you know when you're cheesing.

Ok I see. Last year I had the two Wisconsin stud RB's and the stud O-line and somebody pointed out I ran the ball 30 plus times a game with Clay...but it wasn't the same play. I'm a grinder, if I have a stud line and rb's I'm gonna run the ball down your throat!

Thanks, I'd love to go with a Central Michigan...same route Kelly took! I'd be worried tho that a Maryland, K-State, Louisville type of job would get an ND offer before Central. It will be interesting to see how realistic it is, for example: Going undefeated at Central with a bowl win, would you get the big dog offers right away or would it just be a stepping stone to a 'little more' prestigious school...

Cheesing should be obvious. I hope they've made it easier to pass to your outside WRs and harder to your slots. People complained a lot when I passed to the open man...

the more I think about it the more I feel I'm not doing it... last year I was pumped to kill yall... then we played a few games each, and I just lost any desire to keep playing...

i think I may learn from that and just stay with my offline D this year and save yall the trouble...


although I will say this, in college (frosh and soph year at CSUSB) we had a HUGE dorm Dynasty that filled almost EVERY team... we had 50 dollar buy in and the winner took ALL.... and just played the season out as was... it was awesome... that memory makes me want to... last year makes me not want to...

I can understand how failed ODs can push you away from one. If we could figure out some sort of reward system, that might keep everyone in it and make it even more enjoyable.

First guy to get ND's head coaching position wins the pot.
Now...what difficulty are we planning on playing on? It's got to be All-American at least. Though I warn you, I can hang 80 points or more against top 10 teams on AA difficulty.
As long as Heisman doesn't basically break the game, the way that it did after the last patch for NCAA 11, I'm all about playing at that level.

I've never had a problem with paypal. I'd trust any of 'long time' IE guys with it. We may have to go a bit higher than $10 tho, I'm guessing we get like 10-12 guys!? $20x12 would be a nice lil' pot. It'd buy a upper deck ticket in one of the end zones for Air Force lol
