Thanks pal! I tried to "rep" you but it wouldn't let me. BTW, she's still recovering day to day as will be the case for the time being. Due to low potassium she went into afibrillation yesterday, so hopefully they get her regulated. Thanks to all again for keeping her in your prayers.

Hopefully, I won't need to update my mom's condition again & her recovery will continue on schedule w/ no worries. Suprisingly, the hospital discharged her yesterday afternoon & she's getting around pretty good all things considered.

I almost had a heart attack myself when I went to visit her yesterday. I went to her room in the CCU wing & saw her lying unconscious on a gurney w/ breathing tubes & medical staff surrounding her discussing what to do. I know my face turned white as I thought she had coded. THe lady in charge of the waiting room came running at me saying, "sir, she's not ready for visitors yet, can I help you". She then mentioned the woman's name & where her family was waiting when I realized it was NOT my mom!

My dad & sister were so busy getting her home & situated that they forgot to tell me she was discharged before I visited at 2 pm. The lady I saw actually resembled my mom at first glance so you can imagine the horror in my reaction. What a relief. I only hope that the lady I saw was just getting out of surgery & not in an emergency situation.

Anyway, I wanted to give a final thanks to all the prayers & well wishes by my friends at IrishEnvy. God bless you all.
