Warren Harding had a down year last season, but they always play a tough schedule. They are usually one of the top 10 teams in Ohio.

It is the school that begat Clarrett. Michigan currently has two starters from Harding-Mariano Manningham and Prescott Burgess.

Herron is considered one of the three best backs in Ohio this year, at least among the seniors.

Talk about ripped, I can see why they call him boom, he probably can lay a lick. High School has FSU helmets though. Thats the only negative I see. Personally I still want Hughes.

he definitely hits the weights guys, good grief the kids built. I don't like the top speed, but get him under the dome and he should be able to drive forward for 5 a pop!!

4.52 is plenty fast enough. It's faster than Emmitt Smith, or Jerry Rice for that matter.

Fixed it for you.

Though Harding guys do end up at UM quite often.

Well, apparently the only reason why UM is listed is that his cousin is currently playing there from what I've read.

Fox Sports Article from today:

Boom Herron, a four-star running back from Harding High School in Warren, Ohio, said he plans to commit this weekend. "I'll probably announce my decision at school. I want to get it out of the way and get ready for the season. It will come down to Ohio State or Michigan," Herron said. Herron, who is slightly shorter than 5-10, previously has shown interest in Minnesota (offer), Miami, Penn State and Notre Dame.

Herron bench presses 355, squats 550 and vertically jumps 37 inches.

Herron cancelled his trip to Michigan but said he plans on going up sometime this week. He then plans on committing shortly thereafter. He claims OSU is his leader. No surprise.

Word is that he now cancelled because he wants to commit to OSU. Shocker.

I don't know enough about the guy to say I had wanted him to come to ND, but I'm still confused as to why so many running-backs are headed O$U's way. Some, like Brandon Saine could end up at a different position.

But those that stay at RB will be permanently benched by Chris Wells. That guy is incredible.
