1. F*** me, this sucks.

2. That Robbie Parris kid? All he does is catch first downs.

3. It looked to me like UConn won this on conditioning. It sure seemed like they had more gas left in the tank than ND did, in the second half.

4. Penalties were, again, a killer. They kept putting ND in bad down and distance situations, over and over again.

5. Armando Allen had a great game, but I wonder about his ability to carry the load. He looked gassed, late in the game.

6. Charlie is almost certainly gone. And how ironic........Clausen said that Weis would not get fired because of him. Clausen just did not look like Clausen, tonight. His numbers certainly were not bad, but he just looked like he was pressing too hard. His timing was off on quite a few throws.

7. Red Zone offense was a problem.........again. I wonder if giving Tate some looks at tailback, in the red zone, would help? You could still utilize him as a WR, by lining him up at tailback and running wheel routes with him. That might even create some very favorable matchups. If you're a D Coordinator, are you going to try to cover him with a linebacker?

8. For those who were saying that Clausen could not make the throw that Dayne Crist made, to John Goodman in the Washington State game? Did you see the throw he made to Floyd, on the play that Floyd fumbled?

and breakdown, and pursue laterally, and cover hook zones, and flats, and keep your head up and know where the ball is, and be in shape in order to be strong enough in the 4th quarter, and take better angles...

It was a miracle year. The hand of God moved that last second field goal, two yellow flags to wipe out touchdowns. But how many miracles are needed? Ten a game?

I wish Tate luck in the NFL. Jimmy, take a good look at BQ's NFL career. Don't spend the signing bonus...that's your retirement.

No, the UConn players had it won before OT with 2 TDs called back. How many more games are you going to say this and say its not Charlie, but the players? Who are the players coached by? 35-26.

3-9 was awful, this is rock bottom. I feel terrible for those seniors who have gone through the highs and lows standing, like men, beside their coach. They deserve better. Charlie deserves better. I hope these guys can rally one more time and find a little ND magic next week in Palo Alto.

I was being sarcastic, I have been ridiculed for saying Charlie SUCKS. I just find it funny that the rest of the " It's not Charlies fault people" are turning to the dark side.
