ND spotted UN 14 via a short field INT and a Pick Six.

Then they outscored UNC 50 to 22 while giving UNC another 7 points.

During the game some posters kept lamenting TCU,s gonna pass ND. They were up 21 over #5 Baylor. Well ND came back to win while TCU LOST.

#2 Auburn also lost.

Golson had another ball control issue game that turned into 21 UNC points. He also threw for 300 YDS and 3 TDs and running for another 70 yds.

ND appears to have a multipurpose #1 RB. Folston ran well, 98 yds, caught well, 71 yds, and blocked well.


Kudos for Kelly for a game plan guaranteed to ally any Nole concerns about ND.

Couldn't watch the game but watching highlights, reading recaps, and reading your comments I think that this game was a letdown/trap game for ND sandwiched between Stanford and FSU.

While I haven't watched the game I'm not ready to write off our defense, which has been a rock all year long, as being "exposed" after one poor performance. Everyone gets a mulligan and I expect our defense to look better next week.

I also think we'll play a lot better next week in general. Golson's turnovers is becoming a trend though and something has to be done about that. Can't be handing FSU points. Overall I'll take this game as a mulligan in general and move on. Probably glad I didn't get to watch it...I had a good day instead of a really stressful one.

My post game thoughts-

1-Can we get any more under armor logos on golsons helmet?

2-It wasn't an option this game but why do we always choose to receive when we know our first time out on offense to start a game is a dud?

3-Are we a good team with bad days or an average team with good days? Not sold either way yet.

Fuller is our best WR and it isn't even close. Love CROB and Koyak but without Fullers 2 TDs we lose this game.

So..... How could you call him our best 3 tech in however long if he isn't even playing that position. Does that make sense? Seeing the future I guess.

I dont want to jump on ya but since you are standing by your original statement. Day is by far away our best Dlineman and he plays the 3 tech. So Rochelle is a better 3 tech than our guy currently starring there? Also Day will be the 3 tech next year. Just so much wrong with what's going on, lol.

I think we are a good team with institutionally poor starts to games. After 5 years, it is still an issue.

But, we just keep winning, so Kelly is doing something right.

5. I am amazed at the similarities between 2014 and 2012. This is a fallible team that finds ways to beat mediocre teams. But we are going to have to bring our A game, to beat the top teams.

Kelley also gave It to him... I am harder on myself when I mistakes then anyone else could be, just as well as we are harder on UND then anyone else could be. It's the game before the Game. All is forgiven If we come through next week and prove this was just sleepy non-sense
