I think that he out-thinks himself. Too many audibles. If I was the OC I'd just quit.

Manning has been stuck with a mediocre defense, much like Qui....ah nevermind. Seriously, my 2 favorite NFL teams are in the Super Bowl!!!

This has been a wacky playoff season... Think about it... The two teams that had the biggest question marks coming into the playoffs... Colts D and Grossman at QB... Both of them have beaten the odds and gotten their team into the Super Bowl... My Prediction is that both of them fall apart in the Super Bowl....

Game Prediction:

Colts 26
Bears 24

Bears D> Colts D
Colts QB> Bears QB

This will be a tough one to call. I live in IN, but closer to Chitown than Indy, and I've been a Bears fan longer.

We're in the exact same boat Junkhead. After some reflection, I've decided that I want (and I think they will) Indy to win, just so I don't have to listen to the talking jackasses, er heads... on TV talking about Manning can't win it all.

i'm in the same boat. i live closer to chicago, and have been a chicago fan forever. but since the early/mid 90s i've been following the colts a hell of a lot closer, so i gotta go with indy!

I gotta go with the Colts. Its time for peyton to win a Super Bowl and shutup all the talking airheads. Since the Chargers are out, along with LT, my second choice is the Colts.

Bears-- Another easy Super Bowl win

Bears-- Another easy Super Bowl win

Almost everyone likes the Colts over the Bears. DEFENSE wins the big games. The Bears by 10, even with Grossman.

I'll be pulling for the colts but the bears look real tough. I don't know if the bears will be the favorite going into the game but in my mind they are. Their D was lights out today.

This entire thread is hilarious.

8:00pm - Manning sucks!
11:00pm - Manning rocks! Go Colts!

Watch out... you can get whiplash from that.

NO DOUBT!! I'm with you here. Power running game and Defense wins championships....period!! When was the last time a high-powered offense won the super bowl? Rams in 2000 Super Bowl?

There have been many running/defense teams that've won it since then and they are the majority of winners in NFL history I believe. Here's are the SB's since then:

2000 - Rams - High-flying offense wins (by one yard over the Titans 23-16)
2001 - Ravens - Defense/Running Offense (crushed the Giants 34-7)
2002 - Patriots - Defense/Balanced Offense (beat the offensive Rams 20-17)
2003 - TB Bucs - Defense (beat the offensive Raiders 48-21)
2004 - Patriots - Defense/Balanced Offense (beat defensive team Carolina 32-29)
2005 - Patriots - Defense/Balanced Offense (beat Philly Eagles 24-21)
2006 - Steelers - Defense/Running Offense (beat the offensive Seahawks 21-10)

If you look even further back, I think you'll find that DEFENSE wins championships. I see the Bears getting in Peyton's grill a lot and he chokes again...in a bigger game.

Are the Bears really a TD dog already?

Are you fing kidding me? All week I heard about the great New Orleans Saints - who were going to roll into Chicago and just smack the Bears around.

Then after a 25 point ass stomping, the exact same team - Colts - except with a rush defense that makes the 'Aints look like the steel curtain, are favored by 7 points.

Reggie Bush has a little something to learn - you dont smack off to Urlacher like the cheating punk pussy that he is. Hey Reggie, do you realize that you were 1 on 1 all day with a MIDDLE LINEBACKER. Welcome to the NFL. If not for a 88 yard illegal pick play - Urlacher shut you down in single coverage.

The amazing part of that play is that Urlacher came from 30 yards behind the play and ended up the closest pursuer.

Go Colts!!! I live in Chicago, but I am a Colts fan first and a Bears fan second. Peyton will finally have his day, but it will be a tough win. Go thing the Bears don't do a 3-4, which is what gets to Peyton.

Colts 27
Bears 16
