Just saw it, pretty pedestrian for Lou. Rece was giving him grief for pulling for Notre Dame instead of a service academy. Lou replied, "I don't cheer for anybody.....Cheer, cheer (cheer, cheer said to the opening tone of the Victory March). Priceless.

Thanks Kamara. I really stayed up to see that speech and missed it. I don't watch ESPN unless I'm at a bar, but I kinda like Salisbury and Haden - especially Haden. He is the voice of ND football. Just wish ND would not play a "made to NBC order" football schedule. How bout ND give up on bowl games for the rest of human existance, and play a schedule similar to any championship year? Let the sportswriters and needy fans wonder...
