This is kind of funny and shows a complete lack of short term memory. The defense got cut up like butter on three straight possessions. That's why the other team is on pace to put up 42 points.

'Dunno. I don't think we can win the game without him. I mean, we don't have a legitimate 3rd receiver and the running game is going nowhere. So he better step up.
I'm starting to really miss John Carlson.
This is simply not true. The defense did not even show up for three straight possessions. That's 21 points. That's a lot. That's not playing well.

I'm not sure what to think? The d gave up 21 points, but also got 3 turnovers. The o only capitalized on 1 of them though. If Rhema can get it together, ND will be right back in this thing. Too many missed opportunities. I think we still got a real good shot at this. One more turnover by Booty and he may be mentally done.

Well, hopefully McKnight comes to play in the 2nd half because he's letting USC dominate him. Worrying about the safety hitting him, dropping balls hitting him in the hands... it's terrible.

if we can continue to force turnovers and/or 3 and outs, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. we must continue to do those things in order to win.
You mean the defensive coordinator of the team that's on pace to surrender 42 points in its second huge game of the year, after surrending 47 in its first big game of the year?

Absolutely correct on your assesment. We have so many stats in our favor yet we're down.
Quinn isn't making good decisions right now. McKnight really has to step up. He's getting one on one coverage alot of time he's going to have to step up his game. If he continues his play Smardjiza will get double and triple teamed. Our offense will not be able to overcome that.
BTW. We are really missing Carlson. He was such a reliable guy for Quinn in the middle of the field. Especially on those 3rd and 4 or 5 yard plays. He's such a weapon in that situation.

No chance. We need to start winning the field position battles. Shorter fields.with some of these offensive plays we're seeing, think we'll see an onside kick to start off the 2nd half?
