This team is definitely going 6-6. We will just get absolutely owned by Utah and USC if Navy is beating us like this. This team just couldn't afford injuries to its key receivers. I know we run the spread, but there should be some formations where we just line up against a team like Navy and RUN IT STRAIGHT AT 'EM!!! One more thing......I don't care how much you prepare, your team has to play with fire. Didn't happen today.

There is no fire now, but if the gameplan was to allow 10 yd holes up the middle for the first three quarters, then the plan worked. That had nothing to do with fire, that was **** poor planning...oh they showed us the veer today, didn't know they ran the veer, we made adjustments, now we will only allow 7 yd wide holes for the fullback.

No amount of fire would have closed those holes. Only the gameplan could have.

Besides, if he really wants to get into semantics, veer was usually run out of a split backfield. Navy has run double slot all year. I am sure he will be asked to justify and explain his perception of the "veer" and how that varied from what this idiotic display prepared (or didn't) for.
