Bramblett just saved the remote from going through the window. I’m good with the try. I just wish we would’ve called the timeout and took one shot before trying that long a fg.

Wow that was awful. Awful. You had time to take some shots for field position before conceding to the FG. 17 seconds with a timeout??? And you win draw for 6 yards? You could of HB draw, Timeout, we draw and spike rather than do just that.
Lucky tackle on the return too. Do you really not know the range of your kicker?
Great half, but looks like ND is trying to do “just enough” rather than go for the kill.

That was amateur hour to end the half. Had what? 11 seconds and two TO’s instead he chose to let the clock run and attempt that kick.

Really excellent half. Especially from Book - dude is duel threat.
It is interesting that you can still see the huge difference a really talented QB and WR group makes though.
Did JOK just stamp his first round pick status. Is he in the running for national LB awards?

That's what I was thinking, though I still think it was a silly chance to take with Etienne standing in the end zone. That guys is dangerous and almost broke one for a TD.
I would have called a timeout earlier in the drive and taken a couple of downfield shots. Higher percentage chance of getting a better FG position or potentially a TD.

Really need to get pressure. I don’t care it’s a two score lead, and we dominated Time of Possession, we need to get pressure, or this 5* QB, future 1st rnd pick will start to make some plays.

JOK will me sorely missed after this season. Such a special talent that developed into a first round lock. 5 more tackles, a pass break up and a sack in the second half is my prediction.

Lea has done an amazing job shutting down Etienne and Clemson's rushing attack. But for one lapse by Lenzy, we'd be completely dominating this game.

Book - can't ask for anything more
RB - that 1st series run by Williams.... whoa. Not sure why we saw CBo this early in that particular series and down and distance.
WR - Big 50/50 catch by Javon, but he's not getting separation. Huge YAC by Skow. Wilkins blew the top off, but OL folded on that play. Bracey, ouch
OL - was not good late in the half. Need to rally in the 2H.
JOK - monster bad azz. Just amazing.
Nice flashes from Bo, DH, Hamilton. Simon playing better than expected, but also had a flub or two.
Need more Skow, and need Mayer to step up. Need to take some shots on 1st down. Seemed we got a little predictable. Book still had some huge conversions in predictable downs.
Got to think we see some razzle dazzle this half???

Too many points left on the field. Easily 8, but I count probably as much as 15. Mayer, young man...dude's been having himself a year so far, but man, he is killing us right now. Back to back miscues in the redzone cost us two easy TD's. Also have to give some love to the refs for that bullsh*t blocking call on Skow. Like WTF was that?
Defensively, impressed with how they're bottling up Etienne. Keep that up, but they need to rattle DJ a lot more. He's way too comfortable back there. Secondary, particularly Bracy, needs to get their shit together. Clemson's gonna get their's, but the stuff like the back to back chunk plays Bracy gave up are inexcusable. He wasn't just beat, he made a blunder and gave it up.
