Nah.

You can't blame scheme for making dumb throw after dumb throw. Dude has had multiple looks that the play called for and he opted for the infinitely harder option over and over.

Then you have whatever the fuck that last pick was.
I can blame the scheme for making him and the WRs try to play hero ball to have a chance. Did you watch him in the slow mesh? It’s amazing what a system with good leadership can produce.

In all seriousness, he obviously needs to make some tough assistant coaching decisions/moves even if that means Gerald Porker goes back to TE coach
He better. This isn’t a child’s game

Klubnik is not good. Clemson is not good. Notre dame offense is worse. Absolute failure from our administration and freeman

I think Hartman being so awful are missing how bad Klubnik is. Maybe one of the worst qbs they’ll face all year

I’m afraid Freeman is as bad of a coach as the last guy before Weis.

This offense is a joke. If we can’t figure out how to get guys outta the transfer portal,.. We need to hang it all up.

Times change. Catholic people have changed.

Grow up Notre Dame!

We are tired

My old man met my mother after nam at Michigan State, he attended Notre Dame after his bachelor's degree at MSU. I became a Notre Dame fan around 1991 and I am jealous of Michigan State if they get Meyer at the moment. Freeman is in over his head and should have never been promoted to HC. We got screwed just like MSU did when dantonio left. We have not won the natty since 88 although we were close 30 years ago. I would love to see one before my pops dies but doesn't seem likely.

This is what happens when a school decides to play the game like we’re playing in 1945.

These old heads can’t figure it out.

Maybe St Mary’s can just take over and play by the same cheap rules the rest of the country does

Anyone who wants to blame Hartman on the offense's ineptitude...do you think Pyne is better than Hartman? Because you'd have to in order to not blame Parker. Can't have it both ways.

The offensive line was completely dominated today. Makes it a lot harder to play QB. Or call plays.

Year after year.. smh

I don’t even know what to say bc it’ll just come from anger..

FUCK

That’s really where I’m at.. OL sucks, WRs suck.. Hartman sucks.. Parker is over here with Playskool “My First Offense”

I’m watching Kansas St throw all over Texas & we can’t find one WR that gets any separation.. we need a lacrosse player to help us.

WTAF is going on with this football program??

JFC Freeman is dead man walking if he doesn’t demand a new & capable OC from this piece of shit Administration thats happy to take all the football money but not support the programs needs.

Fuck this.. like I said I’m angry lol

He was in a scheme he knew and was designed to overcome talent disadvantages and put defenses in positions where they can’t be in two places at once.

Now he’s in no scheme at all with guys who are asked to do too much.

Crappy situation created by a crappy OC.
Oh I agree 100%. Just frustrating to know we had a QB who had proven he can play well enough to beat an elite defense…and ND pisses down their leg

Notre Dame out-gained Clemson 187-164 if the first half

But panicked in the 2H but not going to what they allegedly say they want to be (run first team). Estime was matching Mafah blow for blow before the pick six & Parker decided to go back to predictable play calling.

Hard to blame him when his OC bails on him in March and then the admin fumbles his initial hire HARD.

I'm more angry at his horrid preparation of the team over and over again on the road. Just abysmal performance. Even from the defense and ST.
If he's a head coach and not a figure head, Parker will be let go this week. All bowls they are eligible for at 9-3 will be there at 8-4. If I'm CJ or Cams Dad....I'd want to know by Wed what the plan is....and if it's sticking with Parker....my boy would decommit minutes later. 4 for 40 sounds great to 3 star kids....the high end kids want to win...and win now....then head to the league.

Brian Kelly left the cupboard a nuclear bomb.

I still think BK knew what he was doing when he left us high and dry….

Boooooo me
Completely agree. The state of some of the position depth was just too poor to ignore.

What advantage is there to firing Parker this week? Best case scenario is that Geno does well against shit comp and the admin says "There's your new OC right there!"

I'd rather call this season lost and go for a great OC hire in the offseason.

Firing him this week would be good for any offense recruits who may see this and get antsy. If I'm Michigan, I'm calling Cam the second this game is over and getting in his ear. Also by dumping him now, allows for a long search that should put ND in the driver's seat. Although I do see your point about GG

Lololol...I'm not talking about Michigan, I mean any big time program that's gaining more yards than 56 on 6 possessions that need a top rated WR. They should be on the phone with Cam today, reminding him how bad Parker is.

Good game defensively. When your offense is so inept it hurts, you’re going to give up a few points. I remain firm in not hiring Parker. Don’t hire Parker. Like, Parker shouldn’t be hired. Wait, too late.

If undefeated ND plays 4-4 Clemson... It would have been a night game. Completely different outcome, in my humble O
I agree...Clemson probably would have scored 14 more in the 2nd half...

Possibly. The thing you aren't understanding IS... We have played most every one of our games at night or 330. It does make a difference.

We might have lost still, but a new HC doesn't always see the difference In the times to play and prepare w/out prior experience.

BK actually was pretty good at these preparations, but he failed at coaching them through the tough times, during the game.
