It's not like Costello's a scrub but yeah at this point you've got to think something's seriously wrong with Wimbush's confidence. He obviously has the arm but he misses way too many easy ones.

I'm willing to bet he could have hit some of these open passes. Wimbush flashes better than Hendrix, but Wimbush will also miss a throw that most HS QBs could make.

This team is very good. Great RBs, amazing OL, good TE, solid WR, good DL, very good LBs, decent DBs, but the QB play has been terrible. Plain and simple. 96th Ranked QB Rating in the FBS is not good enough for a Notre Dame football team. Next season it’s an open competition between Ian Book, Brandon Wimbush, Avery Davis, and Phil Jurkovec

I disagree with you on DB’s. Corners are decent, safety play is horrid.
