Maybe he'll grad transfer back for his last year??
Of course neither party would be interested but…

It has to be killing him inside to be in his current situation and look over and see an ND team with a massive hole at QB and a great offensive line.

He probably cost himself millions by not swallowing his pride and working his way out of the doghouse in South Bend.

I just never liked how he handled the whole thing. Thought he showed a bunch of immaturity. I'm all for leaving cuz you don't want to wait and play now, but to claim he wasn't given a fair shot sat wrong with me and the time and still does. I'm not wishing ill will on the kid with injuries just one old man's feelings.

"cost himself millions"?. He's been bad now for two different programs. So its pretty likely he wasn't going to make a lot of money playing football.

He's got a covid year. Might as well use it somewhere. Have to be a G5 program somewhere at this point. Or could he "rebuild" his standing at BC? I kinda doubt it.

There's a reason he was being touted as a future first rounder 16 months ago. He has physical tools and at ND he would be putting up better numbers. Right now he's looking to be a future UDFA.

Also, by what measure was he was bad at ND?

If the various practice reports were accurate PJ got worse while at ND and was even passed by Brendan Clark (pre injury) at one point. He never came close to proving to be better than Book, who definitely isn't making millions.

Sorry if already posted... but should we completely write off Phil as a transfer candidate?

I know I know... but seriously.

CMF could absolutely sell him on it and his bitch about ND had nothing to do with staff still here.

From what I see, he's pretty dang serviceable if he had a decent O Line and we should have an absolutely cracking OLine next year with a bunch more weapons.

Why not give it a shot? I know we hate him, but the kid is not a bad QB.

By literally every metric of judging QB play…he is a bad QB.

I had BC to cover tonight so I watched a bit. Morehead looked ok. He had a beautiful ball down the sideline and another over the middle.

I didn’t watch the game but he put up some passing stats: 330 yds, 4 TD/0 INT

He’s a 6’5”, 228 lb RS Freshman from Cali.

I’d rather get Morehead to transfer before he’s too deep into the Byzantine ND course requirements
Does BC require theology and philosophy? That might be a couple required courses off the list, at least.

Quick search says yes, but they’re Jesuit so it doesn’t really count
