Nobody knows on this board whether or not he is or isnt going to be retained as head coach.

sorry, but i think it is absolute lunacy to think clausen is going to stay for weis. he will be a sure first rounder and possibly the first qb taken. he will not jeapordize that.

with the new rookie wage scale to be implemented in 2011, i also expect anyone who is a likely first or second rounder to enter the draft before that affect them. i think that will include tate.

funny, but i dont think guys who have proven to be real college coaches are going to play second fiddle to a guy who has been an abject failure as a head coach.

If Clausen were going to stay he would make that fact known. I would also reserve judgement on casting any votes for Charlie to say until I see the last 2 regular season games. If we win both games this debate really heats up if loses both then he will be announced gone the Monday following the Stanford game. If we go 1-1 he has a slim chance.

History has shown that a new coach gets a boost his forst season, especially is some players are there:

Ty wnt 8-0
- Charlie started out 9-2

believe it or not steve some people are sick of the BS.

most fans want to know what is going to happen but the truth is none of us do know, and its no longer fun to come to this message board.

its a bunch of the same dribble over a situation that wont be handled until after the season.

The answer is obvious. You know those "We are the Fighting Irish" spots. Well, there is one they haven't shown yet. They'll unveil it after the Stanford game. Basically, there is a research team at ND that is working on reanimation and keeping things young. They do a lot of work on food. So if you have chicken or something like that, with this system, you can keep it fresh for months. It's good for people with low income etc. But this research has also branched off into, what some will call, the morbid. Bringing back the dead. Here comes Zombie Rockne. Seriously. It's a message board, our team sucks, if people want to speculate on the program's future, what's the problem? Charlie got a chance at his deam job, and made more money than the rest of us will combined. You can't feel too bad for him.
