It looks as if no one outside of irishnation is giving us a chance to win this game.

im pretty surprised, espn makes it sound like we have absolutely no chance in hell....God i want to beat the living crap out of michigan!!!!!

Most of the analysts at ESPN bag on the Irish when they can (see Mark May), or at the very least, will go against them until they see overwhelming proof they can pick them without getting laughed at. Good thing is, at least Lou is there to tell them all to eat it.

I wonder if Lou is going to be in the locker room before the game. I know he is speaking at the pep rally, but I wonder if he will have a few inspirational words of the boys. There are a bunch of reasons I want to win this game, but I really want the "W" on Lou's day. Just for old time's sake, I would love to see Lou lead the team out onto the field in his ND windbreaker and ND hat.

They're putting up a statue for Lou and they're celebrating the 1988 National Championship team. This would be a great day for a win. I hope it all works out. Charlie would be silly not to let Lou talk to this team before the game. He could provide some great inspiration.

I've been browsing around and actually found that Bruce Feldman od ESPN is actually picking ND 21-13 over the skunkbears. The fearless prediction on FOXsports is 24-10 Michigan.

The bad news? Feldman also picked Rutgers over UNC and we see how that turned out!

It's really been a mixed bag. The guy who does predictions on the NBC website picked ND 17-16. And, typically, he's not the homer you might expect.

Do we have a shot? I'd say yes. Are we gonna take it? Who knows. I hope we have a few surprises for everyone to see. Wasn't Michigan the first game we saw Darius Walker light it up? It'd be nice to see one of our RBs make this their break-out game also.

I'll say it again, if we can't beat this down trodden Michigan team, Weis needs to go. Because we most certainly won't be beating them in 5 years when RichRod is running rampant in the Big10.

Let me say that Mother Nature is not doing us any favors. I firmly believe that all this damn rain plays into UM's hands. Their big DL is really happy. They are probably doing a rain dance. Further, this makes the pass game tougher which was an advantage to us. A turnover will decide this game.

Our line didn't allow a sack in a game for the first time since 2005, that may not be a big deal to anyone but I was glad to see it. It really doesn't surprise me that people are picking us to loose, they usually do till we prove them wrong for most of the season.

I just think that this game is huge for us in a lot of ways, primarily confidence, I feel that if we win 2morrow this could be the win that sets the mood for the rest of the season.

MeatChicken gave us the game with a big read bow on it, stopped themselves on defense many times, scored for us, sold concessions, parked cars and even thanked the fans for coming out.
