How'd the game go today GoIrish?? I didn't get a chance to watch.

I much say that Blue Jacket jersey really fits Carter quite well

Kings absolutely dominated most of the first period. Quick had no action at all for the first 15 minutes of the game. The entire period was in the Ranjuhs end of the ice. I think he lost focus a bit and then let in a really soft goal by Callahan. It was a sharp angle and Quick's body wasn't against the post and it trickled in. The Ranjuhs scored another in the third, but Mike Richards tied the game with about 4minutes left. Jack Johnson won it in overtime.

Lundquvist was playing out of his head. He is a really good goalie. Kings should have won 4-1 or 5-2, but Lundquvist kept his team in it by standing on his head. Henrik was playing in front of his home country and he had a good showing. I was not all that impressed with the Gaborik/Brad Richards line.

Kings didn't play well, but it was a tough game on the road in the midst of a brutal road trip. Ducks got smoked 4-1 so I am a happy man tonight.

Hopefully the Kings can come out strong tomorrow morning against the Sabres in Berlin. I will always take a win especially this early in the season.

I see. It's also easier winning in OT vs an Eastern conference team cause you're not giving a point to a team you could be competing with for a playoff spot.

I hope the Kings beat the Sabres by 10. Lol. I live in Western NY and watching the Sabres lose is beautiful

Yeah, I never mind the 3 point games when we play an Eastern conference team. I guess the Quacks looked awful against the Sabres. I hope we can have a solid game. I heard the Sabres had travel issues from Finland and didn't get in to Berlin until 3am. Hopefully they will be tired.

I'm really liking this team after 1 game. And of course it's nice not having to cringe with every shot on net.

Good goaltending can change your whole outlook on your team. I suffered through some awful goaltending years - one not too recently where the Kings went with like 6 different goalies in one season. It was awful. Now we have two bonafide number one goalies and I am loving it!

Bryzgalov looked good for the Flyers the other night. He is a tough goalie and he has always been a King-killer. Not looking forward to seeing him in net next Saturday.

Kings game was frustrating and exciting all at once... like the Pens first game...

I'm okay gettin' outta Europe .500. Get back to the States and get ready for the Devils and Flyers. Miller was outta his mind. He is a great goalie. 1-1 on our European vacation.

Yeah they were a bit sloppy tonight and the Nucks had 5 straight powerplays in the 3rd, but Bryz was good in the 3rd and they got the 2 points.

Also Sean Couturier is gonna be really good. 18 years old and is arguably their best defensive forward.

Was very entertaining. Kings absolutely dominated play for the first 8-10 minutes. Leveled off and the Devs played much better and looser after that. The loose pucks the Kings were getting too early on are now all going to the Devils. Our kid Larsson looks good.

I am kind of wondering if Clifford and Simmonds will square off. That could be fun to watch.

I think this game will be very tight because both teams have such similar styles.
