Alrighty Bob, I am on the fence on this one. I honestly can't pick the winner. Both Ds are phenomenal. Both QBs are mobile. SEA has a better RB but SF has a better TE. I'd say the WRs are better on SF but its in SEA.

Give me a reason why you think SF will win, or why they won't

I can't think about it anymore. I'm so nervous, I've been up since 3:30am. Both great teams, but Carroll is a stooge, Sherman is a piece of shit and my 49ers need to pound them to get to the Super Bowl.

GO NINERS!

I'm annoyed because early in the week I was all
About the Niners. Then every analyst and their mom hopped on them saying how Seattle's O has sputtered and Niners are on a roll etc. Now because joe Public analyst is in love with the red and gold I'm forced to sit this game out.

Or hop on the over....

It says a lot about Carroll, dipshit Sherman, and the Seahawks when Harbaugh and the 49ers feel like the "good guys" in this matchup.

Not a big fan of Seattle necessarily but I love the defensive scheme Carroll runs even if I don't love Carroll.

Great read on how their scheme works particularly how it works really well against San Fransico.

Muth read: The Seahawks and multiple defensive fronts - SBNation.com

I dig good Xs and Os articles like this. I think it is a scheme ND may be able to use it own version of. It is a hybrid scheme that technically is a 4-3 but it really has one half usually the weak side although not always playing like a 4-3 while the strong side plays like a 3-4.

My disdain for Pete Carroll gives me an easy rooting interest. I won't bet...not even vBucks.

Seattle's defense didn't even blink after their offense turned it over down there.

I think the officials are off to a bad start in the 1st quarter. It has been bad for both sides.

That hit on Wilson was not a hit to the head.

On Kapernick's long scramble on the 2nd drive on thebootleg run the DE did bite inside but Cam Chancellor was spying Kapernick and got held by Vernon Davis downfield badly and it wasn't called.

Still wondering how a Charlie Weis defense completely shut down Kaepernick, no matter the year or circumstances.

Stopping a Kapernick offense all comes down to assignment football and tackling. 2 thing s Charlie Weis coach defenses don't do.

Seattle actually played great assignment wise but missed tackles that drive which allowed Kapernick to go all hero ball on them.

I don't like Seattle much so it is fine but in general I hate hero ball seceding in any sport unless it is a team I root for. When the majority of the team fails in a given situation and the play is totally stopped and one guy makes a miracle happen it frustrates the hell out of me because I believe in the team concept. Which is the biggest reason I hate the Miami Heat.

So far San Fransico has done well team wise on defense but their offense has been 100 percent hero ball to this point. OL hasn't blocked, WRs haven' t got open, Frank Gore hasn't broken any tackles been all one guy.

Seattle's got this crazy idea that they can actually win running the ball with Marshon Lynch 60 percent of the time. I could be wrong but I don't think is gonna work. San Fransico is not gonna get tired.

Wilson is running for his life every passing play, but has done a fantastic job keeping plays alive.

Both offensive lines are completely overmatched in this game.

It will be interesting if the 49ers hold on to win. There are plays to be made against their secondary if the pass protection is there. I think it is a high scoring and more entertaining Super Bowl if San Fransisco wins.

49ers on a neutral field are better than Seattle (maybe better in Seattle too apparently) but I think Seattle is a much tougher matcup for Denver.

You're insane :)

Denver has the most prolific passing game in NFL history. Seattle has the best pass defense in the NFL. San Fransico's offense certainly poses more problems for Denver than Seattle's but if I am Denver I think I want the weaker of the two pass defenses and if I can make it a shootout I'll take my chances.

Whoopsie Daisy haha. Worst part? Now Buck has to take his hand out of Aikman's pants and say the term "Beast Mode" for the next hour.

That was an insane TD. Two lucky breaks in a row for the Niners. Not complaining.

What I don't understand is how the hell does that long run by Kapernick happen? OMG I am no NFL coach but you got to stay home on the zone read.

Huge! Huge! Huge blunder by the Seahawks. It is not like the niners have been killing them up the middle with RBs. If you really have the best defense in the NFL that shouldn't happen and I don't want to hear their DBs complain about holding downfield when that was a monumental breakdown in defensive assignments.
