Question to the board...

What would you trade for Tyreek Hill? He has one more year on his rookie contract.

Man, I would love for the Pack to trade for him, but they stay away from anyone with allegations of character issues. One of those high and mighty franchises.

Watch the Pats go after him. I'd give up a 3rd or 4th rounder for him easy.

The Chiefs have been working on contracts for Hill and Chris Jones. Ian Rapoport hears that it could be "record-setting" for Hill - in the OB, Jr range. Chris Jones may get one in the $20 mill a year range, too. Then there's Mahomes...

The Colts have the most cap space - $67 mill. The Pat's is $17 mill. The Chiefs just dumped the big contracts of Eric Berry, Justin Houston from the Dorsey era and what would have been a big one for Dee Ford.

Speaking of contracts, here's a good article on how KC's GM Brett Veach is handling those. Brett Veach continues to demonstrate skill with contracts and the cap

and one on Dorsey, who was Veach's boss in KC:
Cap check: $35.6 million in cap space remains for Browns
A look at how GM John Dorsey has used the team's cap so far this offseason

That is a terrible idea. These speedy returners usually don't last, either due to injuries or loss of speed. I like Hill's speed and it'll be good for another couple years most likely but if they sign him to 5-6 years, I think it's a mistake.

Huge haul, here: Ozigbo, Granderson and Hansen are all guys who are easy to picture contributing in the NFL. Each should have been drafted.

Oakland with Coney is #5.
Chicago with Bars and Mustipher is #8.

He's had a rough injury record, but Ziggy Ansah to Sea for only $5.5MM guaranteed for one year is a steal IMO. He had 12.0 sacks in 2017 in only 14 games. That pass rushing talent for that kind of one year prove it deal is a good buy for the Hawks.

His timeline is a bit foggy when he'll be able to report after shoulder surgery; the optimists in his camp say training camp and the pessimists say he may miss the first month if they play it slowly, but he'll be a great rotational edge guy for them.

The NFL’s best remaining free agents at the start of the 2019 league year (Updated 5/21/19)

The Bucs released DT Gerald McCoy, then signed Ndamukong Suh. McCoy is visiting the Browns.
DE Ezekiel Ansah was signed by the Seahawks to replace Frank Clark.
Kyle Rudolph says the Vikings have offered a five year extension that would reduce their cap number. He is at OTAs.
Tyreek Hill may not be charged, but he faces discipline by the Chiefs and the NFL. FA in 2020?

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill investigated, not charged for alleged battery of a juvenile

According to one report, the KC Chiefs are signing Morris Claiborne, CB, to a 1-year deal worth up to $1.5M. The NFL announced he would be suspended for the first four games of the 2019 season for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. Per 2018 Pro Football Focus marks, Claiborne grades out as the Chiefs’ third-best cornerback on their current roster.

San Francisco 49ers sign tackle Sam Young
Shon Coleman placed on injured reserve as San Francisco inks former Notre Dame tackle

(Our recruiting archives don't go back that far?)

C.J. Prosise is a likely cut from the Seahawks who have Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny ahead of him. He's has injuries that have kept him off the field this offseason and previous years. Over three seasons, Prosise has played only 16 games and carried the ball 42 times, 30 of which came in his rookie season.

Best NFL Free Agents Available Following Cut Day

Of those on the list above, LeSean McCoy has already signed - with the KC Chiefs. Josh Adams was released by Philadelphia.
Three teams have one QB on their 53 man roster - Indy, Seattle and Denver. Chad Kelly and Drew Lock went on injured reserve for the Colts and Broncos respectively.

With Oakland claiming Kizer, they now have four QBs also including Carr, Glennon and Peterman. Looking to deal either Glennon or Peterman to a QB needy team?

Chiefs sign LeSean McCoy to 1 year $3 million contract and another $1 mill in incentives. They had traded Carlos Hyde, who would have been cut, to the Texans for OG Martinas Rankin. They now have four RBs and expect to have running back by committee.

What LeSean McCoy can do for the Chiefs offense

Obviously, this has impacts on the fantasy value of starter Damien Williams as well as McCoy.
