Does anyone know where to see stats or results of this years combine? I want to see how the ND players are doing, but no luck so far.

RB's will be on NFL network tommorrow (sun.) at 11 I will let you know . Today was O line kickers and Tight ends. Ryan Harris did not do that great. I wasn't paying a lot of attention but RH did not really come up in the top of anything I saw.

From what I watched, Harris & Santucci did OK. They didn't turn any heads, but they put up respectable numbers & Harris showed agility. Joe Thomas seemed to steal the show for the lineman as he pretty cemented himself as a Top 3 pick.

Yeah...your right. RH and DS were pretty much middle of the road ordinary. They got stuck behind the Joe Thomas media train...and rightfully so. Jesus, that kid is gonna be a good one.

Also, did you see Brady basically get his manhood called out and dared into benching?!? That freakin' kid is flat out put together. 24 reps at his position is a s*** load.

Damn, I missed that. I thought Brady was sittin' out the combine & don't QBs go tomorrow? Shit I hope I can see it.

yup...the guy spotting all the players came into the hall and said to him..."if you're gonna be a bear...may as well be a grizzley."...Brady, for whatever reason took that as a challenge, called his agent who advised him not to do it and proceeded to put the bar up 24 times anyways. He did an interview afterwords and said his competitive juices got the better of him and he needed to do it.

Kick ass. The agent thing is annoying. BQ is competitve as hell and I'm sure would love to work out at the combine. I'd rather see him work out and put it all on the table. This picking and choosing what to do is weak, everyone should have to do all events or not even show up. That said, I'm sure JaMarcus Russell could throw a 60 yard spiral from the benchpress bench while also benching 200-300 reps.

AWESOME!!! I read that Quinn is not participating in the combine b/c of his knee injury. His orthopod (Dr. James Andrews, no less) recommened that he wait until the 2 Pro Days in South Bend in early & late March.

I wasn't aware that he actually injured his knee on that 60 yd jaunt in the USC game. The kid had the knee drained at halftime, put a sleeve on it & went back out to finish up. He then tweaked it again in the 1st half of the Sugar Bowl. As usual, Brady manned up & stressed that the injury was no excuse for the loss. BTW, JaMarcus Russell (aka, the greatest QB prospect EVER!) is not participating either.

For what it's worth, one NFL draft prognosticator said that looking over the recent 1st round QBs, that one common thread to success is the number of college starts. Brady had just under 50 in his 4 years, Russell only had 29. Hopefully Quinn will repeat what other experienced college QBs did in the pros. Guys like Phillip Rivers, Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer & Donovan McNabb. Russell had roughly the same amount of starts as Joey Harrington, Akili Smith & Jim Drunkenmiller. This stat isn't scientific or anything, but nice too finally see some positive spin in Brady's defense.

Also, for you Browns fans, Romeo Crennel was quoted as saying that Weis told him to trade up & draft Brady Quinn w/ their 1st pick.

Nice to see brady get out there and work out. On a side note did anyone else see calvin johnsons 40. 4.35 at 239 lbs that is pretty sick.

Does anyone have this information? I'm curious to see what Russell did. And....what do some other positions regualarly put up?

I saw Quinn lift, but no other QB. Based on the trailer on NFL NTWK, the next QB was @ 22 (Stanback from Wash). I think that Russell ATE 24 Crispy Cremes............

And how could you forget Ryan Khalil....he got a fair bit of face time as well. Figured they would be breaking-down how well he untied his shoes after the combine. He actually did work out fairly well, but thought that the accolades were kind of over the top.....Agree on Thomas, that guy is a guaranteed top 3 (he won't go first though, 'cause it seems pretty clear that Oakland is picking a QB)

well, I know understand that Quinn put up more than both of our O-line reps at the combine. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

and unless Russell gets called out, I don't think he'll be lifting.

Been watching the combine this weekend on NFLNetwork and I saw some interesting things.
1. Quinn is a physical freak! During the weigh in session you had skinny qbs, plumb qbs, and then Quinn in his own class. J. Russel looked like he had a fanny pack on his waist. Also some of the tatoos were out of control. Then quinn gets called out by the strength coach from Ariz. Quinn calls his agent, who tells him "Nooooooo" - and then he strolls over to the bench and gets called "sunshine by the spotter". He casually gets under the weight and cranks off 24 reps - there were lineman who did not get 24. No receiver and I think no RB got 24! Ryan H got 22, Santucci got 23! Wierd when your QB is as strong as the OL

2. Ted Ginn JR is doing his best Nelly impersonation.

3. Chris Leak may not go until 4-5 round. He looked intimidated.

4. Calvin Johnson is another freak!! Electing not to work out - he sees all the scouts there, so he borrows another guys shoes and runs a 4.3.

5. Thanks Ty for helping Olsen pack his bags in south bend. Cannot believe we had this kid and lost him to the U.

6. Kaliel (sp?) Center from USC is the best lineman in the draft. And he knows it - good but a little arrogant. He was asked about certain guys electing not to participate in the combine and he stated "they obviously have something to hide" kind of an a$$hole statement figuring he must know every guys situation to make that comment. The poodle has done with his apprentice.

Man, that is a great story about Quinn.

It's unclear to me why having Al Davis pass up on you with the #1 pick counts as "dropping" -- aren't the Raiders the team that passed up on Leinart, Cutler, and Young to overpay for Aaron Brooks?

you can't blame everything in the world on Ty. I do not think it was Ty's fault that Olsen decided to go to the U.

But that's great to hear about Darius... I hope he does ok with his 40.
