Mods, I have an idea about a 'helmet hat', dont laugh and tell me if I should post my idea. I think its a good one but want to check to see if I can post my idea. I think it goes along with this 2010 motto thing. Instead of a shirt this would be different than any other teams present way of doing things. To tease this a little I will ask whats the one difference in the helmet that nobody else does and why hasnt Notre Dame apparel suppliers ever done this.

Ok here goes my idea. Plain gold hat-shiny, real gold look ( not the off color yellow like some I have seen ), no markings at all just like the helmet except for very small IRISH on white backround in black letters at bottom of the front just like the helmet ( very small ). No other team has a plain clean helmet-why not the hat-plus a stadium full of these hats would be very distinque. The material would be more expensive so the hat would be special. Am I nuts or is this a good idea.
