Not much different, but the numbers on the sleeve are replaced with the ND logo. I love 'em, what does everyone else think?

like em! finally got a good look at how the ND logo looks from the player interviews on UND.com i do wish they left the space in between the interlocking ND blue instead of whitish tho.

Got mine in the mail the other day...the collar area is odd, but it's nice to see the ND back on the sleeves.

The change doesn't bode well for Hammond.

No more TV numbers, and the front & back numbers are still friggin huge.

6's can look like 8's and vice versa.

1's can look like 7's and vice versa.

You'd think bigger numbers are better, but it has the opposite effect in reality.

"Here's Barry Gallup Junior in the backfield...no wait, that's Aldridge, James Aldridge in the backfield for Notre Dame."

Because a tiny white guy wearing #21 and a large black guy wearing #34 are difficult to tell apart from the press box.

I got a new jersey at Hammes Book Store, I like it much better than the old ones. The interlocking ND is much better then TV numbers.

I liked the TV numbers very much, Weis' jerseys has a classic look to them. This new jersey with the prominent Adidas logo and odd collar are very odd to me. But I will wait until I see them on some pads to make a final judgment. I generally think they could wear pink stripes, as long as they just freakin' win some games.

I hope Brian Kelly brings these babies out for a big game:

Weis' jerseys were awesome.
Holtz's jerseys were a close second.
Not a fan of the solid gold betwen the interlocking ND.

My ears and eyes are open. Do tell, do show!

(I got gold stars in Show & Tell in Kiddy Garden. For some reason my Mommy wasn't very happy when she got a call from my teacher.)

I always liked the late Holtz early Davie era J's with the gold collar and sleeve... they threw the golden dome on the collar one year too... 99 I think...

It was a nice touch... even though that was the era things started to fall apart I liked the unis back then... sharp.

Yeah, the Golden Dome on the collar was a nice touch, although my favorite Jersey was the ones worn under Willingham. The Blue with TV numbers, and the green shamrock on the collar. Simple, nice touch. I have several jerseys and some have the ND on the sleeves, while others have the TV numbers. I think I prefer the TV number ones, with the Shamrock the most.

Oh my god, seriously yo. Did you have to do that? Everytime I read that I can hear Hammond's voice in the back of my head. The one thing I don't look forward to hearing this season is that :clown:... That just ruined my day!! Now, I'm pissed!

The Willingham jersey with the green shamrock at the V-neck had the ND logo on the sleeves. The TV numbers were worn exclusively by Weis the last five years.

But yeah that jersey was awesome. The striped collars and sleeves were okay in the past, but I thought the solid gold stripes looked dumb and take away from the glorious helmets.

Anyone remember the green shamrock with a gold ND in the middle worn on the sleeves of the white jerseys for the 2001 Fiesta Bowl?

Sorry I also meant to say the TV numbers were also worn from Parseghian through Faust (and on the shoulders during Holtz' first year), but that they are "exclusive" to Weis in modern times.

I like the unis in your avatar. Those for some reason are PIMP!!!! I wish we would sport those every home game.

yeah I like the throwbacks too... too bad we only borke them out for the worst season in team history... lol

I also would LOVE to see BK drop some AWAY greens at some point... like the ones Lou borke out in the "Cherrios Bowl" Sugar Bowl

but using them as a tatic... I'm about over that... just use them as a once or twice a year alternate or scrap them completely...

Acamp, i believe they should only be brought out once ever 4 or 5 years, for HUGE HUGE games. not because we want it for luck, but because the players have earned it.

If memory serves correct (not a given by any means), I think it made the Periodic Table in November when I was in first grade. Maybe it was the middle of October. I remember a class field trip to a pumpkin patch on Long Island around that time. Any chance that Googledy Thingy might help?

I once had great flat surface to stack my monthy magazines... it was my very own Periodic Table.

Sweeeet!
