I agree about the "satin" vs "flat"

I think they look pretty decent, and modern. I don't have any problem with the numbers and ND logos...I think they look nice. The Adidas logo could be shrunk down a bit, and the color seems fine to me. I think what it is about the color is not that it's darker, it's that it's a "flat" color and not a "shimmer" fabric. I have a replica jersey from the Willingham days and it's more shimmery than these tech fit jerseys are. I'm sure in those days, you had only a few fabrics to choose from and the dazzle fabric was what teams were using. However, these days, they probably had their choice of "satin" or "flat", for lack of a better description, and they probably said "Well, we don't really need to be shiny." I like the dark, foreboding color against the shiny gold of the helmet...looks more Gothic to me.

I saw a local high school's jerseys that had a "shimmer"
effect. They were "navy blue" but very slightly lighter
than the Irish jerseys. Sometimes, the saterday afternoon
sun picked up a deep emerald undertone. I'd love to see
the Irish on tv with those...Tom

i thought the jerseys were a little dark, but i didnt think it was too bad.

One thing I liked ALOT, was that the numbers on the front of the jerseys were smaller. Big numbers on the back of the jerseys are fine, but when the number on the front of the jersey is big, it makes the players look small.

the jerseys arent perfect, but overall I think they're ok.

The NFL is switching to Nike next year. I'm curious to see the difference between reebok and nike next year. I just hope Nike doesnt do to the NFL what Reebok did to the NHL.

The white jersey seemed better than the blue. The logo on the sleeve looked a lot better with it and it is awfully hard to screw up white.

adidas flopped on this one. i don't like any of their new unis around the country except the basic UCLA jerseys. i'm not necessarily a bruin fan but i've always liked their unis. i can't wait to see dayne's armpits and rib cage in the blues on saturday. what a mess.

another mess is the white tights underneath the pants. the uniforms should call for blue tights. add that to the list of complaints for 2010!
