All of our 6 verbals that were on the previous 150 remain:

Ronald Darby - 69
Justin Ferguson - 74
Tee Shepard - 90 (Understandable drop)
Jarron Jones - 96
Sheldon Day - 143
Deontay Greenberry (149!!!)

Greenberry at 149? ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME? He dropped like 80 spots. He has 1,038 yards and 15 TDs...in six games.

Targets:

Noah Spence - 4
Keith Marshall - 6
Arik Armstead - 15
Andrus Peat - 16
Shaq Thompson - 22
Kyle Murphy - 26
John Theus - 28
Nelson Agholor - 41
Joshua Garnett - 42
Ifeadi Odenigbo - 50
Jordan Diamond - 103
Zach Banner - 123
Byron Marshall - 129
Brian Poole - 131

Also, Patrick Destefano is 59. Starting to think it was a bad decision to let him slip.

Before the season Greenberry was out of the 150. Once camps were all done they put him in at #149. If he is still 149 with the updated version then he didn't move at all. And to me that is complete BS and shocking.

I'm not impressed with ESPN's scout. Luginbill is a tool emeritus.

We should point this thread out to Mr. Brown! Further proof of just how muddled the "ranking" system truly is...and the recruiting services and system on the whole.

I know a guy who works for ESPN's football recruiting service and even he agrees there's just way too many prospects to accurately and fairly evaluate/rank.

In the blurb on "Top Uncommitted Propsects", ND is not given as a potential landing spot for almost all of the recruits visiting this weekend including Banner, either Marshall, Agholor, Diamond. Not really a chance given for Armstead, Odenigbo, or Thompson.

That is insider content, right? They have us involved with all of those kids on their pages. Do you think their information is really informed or insufficiently informed? It kind of has to be one or the other, because everything else I've heard indicates we are alive with all those guys, to varying extents.

I think they consider ND reporting free advertising for an NBC product, so they casually ommit us and over-hype SEC kids.

I don't understand the tendency to feel that we're being bashed here. Maybe they're right, maybe they aren't. Why does that mean bias?

Recall that ESPN was the only source who was right about Golden Tate back in the day.

#11 overall, #2 WR. Dead on.

This is the one that keeps me from screaming, "ND BIAS ND BIAS" over and over whenever I think of ESPN recruiting.

I know a couple D-linemen they thought were going to different schools. Nore Dame is a special school Martin and Tuitt knew it and so will at least one on that list.

Idk I may be biased but it just seems like with ESPN whenever ND is involved with a recruit, they are not a legit contender.

I do occasionally feel like ESPN will somehow not include ND as a school of interest for a recruit even when we are heavily involved. I also often feel that ND commits are often underrated by ESPN.

I have to remind myself of a few things. 1) Clearly I have a bias when it comes to ND recruits. 2) I despise ESPN. Both of these things color my preception of their analysis

That's fair.

I just think that everyone thinks the refs are against their team and everyone things the analysts have something against them.

Recruiting is very inexact. Sources don't always agree. Fans of other schools could easily claim that our last 7 years of recruiting classes (which have generally been top 10) are proof that we've gotten favored treatment, given the results on the field.
