ND played all 11 healthy players (Holloway ankle, Nelson out for the year). Everybody scored but Huffman who didn't attempt a shot.

Starters Turner, Allen, and Loyd in double figures as well as Cable and Westbeld off the bench.

Everybody but Diamond had a rebound. Reimer lead with 7.

Didn't watch this one {out shoveling snow all day ---15" here}.

Sounds like the girls came out flat {again} and Muffet had to chew them out a bit. Wake is not very good and they never should have been in it even for a few minutes with ND --- that's probably why Muffet was upset {some of our girls let their attentions/intensity slip}.

Glad to hear that Cable played well again --- she's a valuable energizer bunny for us. When she and Lindsay Allen are both on the floor we rarely look slow. I wish that one or both of them would VERBALLY get into their sisters' heads during the games {ex. retreating back onto defense is a great time for a team leader to be firing up her team --- also before freethrows. Natalie did some of that.}

A win's a win and lots of girls played lots of minutes, so that's ideal. Hope 8000 braved the snow, but the odds were against us on that I suppose.

#4 Irish Roll Past Wake Forest, 92-63 - UND.COM - University of Notre Dame Official Athletic Site

McGraw:
"I thought we did a really good job during that stretch. The press was effective, we caused some turnovers there and we made them rush a little bit and they threw it away at the other end. So I thought the press made a difference."

"I thought Madison Cable has played as well as she's played all year long. That was a phenomenal game defensively."

ND scored 42 pts off of 30 turnovers. The 30 turnovers were the most since forcing 35 in a triple OT game against CT two years ago.

Cable's six steals were the most by an Irish player in three years.

Cable's four-point play was the first by a Fighting Irish player in almost exactly five years.

Cable leads ND with 12 drawn charges this season and 29 for her career.

The crowd was announced as 8,741 but actual attendance was less than half that.

I noticed a couple of empty rows behind the team.
