Hmm that's great. I wish Michigan would schedule Texas. That Rose Bowl in the 2004 season was a classic even though we were a point short.

Back-to-back 1,000 yard rushing seasons.

A passer rating in 2005 that was higher than Clausen's in 2009, plus he ran for 1,050 yards with 12 TD's at 6.8 YPC. Just think about someone at Notre Dame doing that.

And then on the biggest of stages, willing his team to victory against USC, scoring the game winning TD in the final seconds, while putting up 267 yards passing, 200 yards rushing and 3 TD's.

You could make the case that there's been other great players as good as him, but you could also make the case that he's the most dominant college player ever.

Brian Kelly has four years to get this team ready for a fight against Texas. Texas will be on top sooner than later , there recruiting classes are simply stellar. Mack Brown and Muschamp are both incredible. Texas is having a down year but most teams do from time to time. Texas will be rock-in when we play them so I hope Brian Kelly gets ND ready for a fight !

We play the best in all corners of the country. As Kelly says, there can't be any doubt that we belong in the NC game if and when we're in the discussion.

I love it. Want exposure in a recruiting hotbed? No better way than to play Texas on Thanksgiving. Every blue chip recruit in the state will be attending or watching that game on TV.

Stanford or USC plays us just after Thanksgiving every year.

If we're going to end up on Texas' annual schedule, I think we need to play at another point in the season.

This would be awesome. Course not sure about Thanksgiving, as this is the weekend that ND ends the season in Cali. I think this is more a ploy on UT, to let little brother know that they need them more than Texas needs them. If the Big 12 dissolves I could see UT becoming an Independent and maybe they could play each the same weekend as the conference championship games and stealing their thunder.

The 1996 was a great game. I remeber we came back in that game. Denson had a huge day correct?

Was a great game to watch on TV. Bunch of us watching the games at student apartments, multiple places. Sanson hit that field goal and we were blasting Quad City DJ's for the next hour. If only we could've put it together to beat the Suckeyes the next week....

Rumor has it Sanson traced his foot on a wall at a party shortly after that kick, if I recall he went into the tank and was never the same kicker again after that....
