Yeah, I have no idea what to make of this. I favor both. I will say that if it took them over a year to get the helmet color right, this might take some time to go through.

I understand the jumbotron, but the turf doesnt make sense. Many stadiums still have grass including many professional stadiums. Whats the point? I think our grass field is a big tradition we need to keep

No, I just want a jumbotron and field turf. The jumbotron will add so much life into the stadium

Field turf will attract better athletes and is safer. I'd also assume that the turf would suit Kelly's offense better than grass.

For anyone opposed to this think of one thing, this is ND, they won't rush into anything and make it crap...they probably already have been, and still will extensively search to make sure they put the best possible product out there.If they do this,they'll make it look great,like the new helmets.

Thats okay. All they would need to do is the outline. it would be subtle, but meaningful and not overbearing.

I think a faint outline of a shamrock would be sweet. Outline the numbers in either blue or gold. Then leave everything else.

Attract more athletes? maybe. However, I dont think its safer. Many people have complained over the years that turf doesnt give as much as grass which actually causes more injuries. I recall Bill Belichick blaming artificial turf for Wes Welkers torn ACL a couple years back.

Keep the grass.... We had the fighting irish across the goal line back in the day i thought that was cool.. Would be nice to see ND or a shamrock or even the leprachaun on the 50 facing the pressbox...

I was at the USC game and the atmosphere was ansolutly electric. I believe we need to play a couple night games against big teams every year. It will help us in recruiting and give us a better homefield advantage IMO.
