Notre Dame Football: Rudolph, Walls share the thunder at Pro Day - southbendtribune.com
Walls did well with a 4.39 40yd. Armando a 4.58!?? He was listed at 4.31 in high school, his injury problems got the best of him, it seems. Kerry Neal 5.15 40yd? Brian Smith 15 bench reps? Some very disappointing numbers for our guys.

Eww. Those are some bad numbers. I'm looking forward to when ND pro days are a big deal again. Two years from now could be a strong pro day w potentially Crist, Teo, Wood, among others.

Next year's should be a little better with Floyd, Te'o, Trevor Robinson, Ethan Johnson, Fleming, Gary Gray, and Harrison Smith.

Te'o will only be a junior thus coming season... unless you're implying he'll leave early... which I don't see that happening.

Keeping off topic, Te'o has said he's promised his parents he will earn his degree, so unless he is done after this season, which is entirely possible, he'll be back.

And Floyd would have been a first round pick, but he stayed.

No he wouldn't have. He would have been a mid-second rounder like Jonathan Baldwin will be.

He may have said he is going to get his degree but no one ever means that. If he's a top 15 pick he's gone for sure.

So we're supposed to take your word over his to his parents? Ok makes sense

What player has gone back for academics ever? None?

Dude he chose ND over USC when USC would have been the easy choice for him. On his visit they lost to Syracuse and oh yeah it was also snowing. He's a different dude.

Kerry Neal injured his leg/hamstring during the pro-day. He worked through it since it's his only chance the scouts could see him. That forty time doesn't mean anything, since he was limping the whole time. There is no way he runs a 5.15. He has the at least the same speed of Smith.

Ok, that makes sense. I'm still shocked that Allen ran the same as Darius Walker though.

A couple of people noted that they thought Allen still wasn't fully recovered from his injury either, and that he did not look like himself in any of the drills. I agree with you, there is no way Allen runs the same as Walker if healthy IMO.

Teo has said openly he will not leave early without earning his degree(promise he made to his parents)... so unless he's on track to graduate at the end of this year... which he may be, many players do that... I have no doubt he will be back... BUT, again, he may be on track to grad. for all I know
