Sure, I'm game. Although I need to get all the controls down first. I also have MLB 2K7 now too. I bought that first when I got my system.

Is it just me or did they leave out formation subsitutions as well this year along with Create-A-School which they need to get back, along with some of the player editing options like visors other than dark, eye black, mouthpieces, etc.

Yeah they did last year too on 360 pissed me off... now to distribute playing time you have to adjust the depth chart CONSTANTLY...

I noticed they left out the alternate unis too. I'm guessing they gradually put all of that stuff back in, but it's really annoying not to have it when you're used to it.

That's my biggest complaint. Last year they eventually made a download to include the alternate unis. Why not include them WITH THE GAME? It can't be that much extra code.

Yeah, I was wondering if I was just stupid and couldn't find it. I guess the graphics are so detailed that some other things had to be left out. And the green jerseys piss me off a little. But now that I now what I'm doing, I can't complaub. I hate when they change controller configurations.

Ok, got a question for PS2 users. How do i play online. I have wireless DSL if that matters. I own on heisman and really want to play online against other users of this site as well as others.

For PS2, you have to be connected to the internet by an ethernet cable, either to a router/modem or to these really expensive, yet cool, ethernet adapters that can plug straight into the wall. But, to my knowledge, you can't use wireless for a PS2.

I'm kind of bummed that most of the new recruiting stuff is only for PS3, but all in all, i like the addition of the highlight stick, the mystats, and the in-the-pocket avoidance thing. The direct receiving thing seems kind of complicated - trying to avoid people out of the pocket, and directing a receiver at the same time. It'll take some time to get used to. I don't like how they changed some of the plays up, and they make Frazer the starting QB? What the hell is that all about.

There's the whole new pitches, but i'm under the impression that the whole searching for players wasn't on the game - i couldn't find it. From reviews, it said that they made recruiting a lot harder and revamped most of it. From what i can tell, they changed some language and made pitches more in depth, but making it harder? not really. First season in dynasty i went undefeated and finished second, and then in the off-season I landed 11 5-star recruits.

For PS3, reruiting is ongoing. At the beginning of the season you pick all the prospects you want to go after, and recruit them during teh season. THen, any that don't commit anywhere can be pursued in the offseason, there aren't two separate cycles of recruiting. Although the recruiting is pretty realistic because Urban kept stealing some of my recruits that I (thought) I had locked down. It is kinda hard b/c a kid will hang up on you if you don't talk about the right stuff or if you keep him on the phone too long.

No, which is what i was talking about! Basically, the only thing that's changed for recruiting in PS2 is that they expanded each category, so that instead of doing the "playing time" pitch, you'd set him up with lunch with the team captain, or instead of the playing style pitch, you go over the play book. So, i guess the benefit is that you can diversify and do multiple pitches at once, but other than that, not a whole lot of improvement.

Actually this is good to hear... LOL

This game is MUCH harder than ANY previous edition... on Heisman I am still unbeaten in my Dynasty with KU and ND but it took a miracle against Purdue, down 28-14 with 3:00 to go I scored... got the ball back Jimmy threw an INT (AN issue I will address in a sec.) and I thought the game was over with about a minute to go... but the dumbass CPU threw on third and long on my 25 with 35 seconds left and I picked it off with Zibby and ran it all the way back for the tie...

First play of OT Carpenter throws another pic to that again is taken back all the way for the win... UNREAL...

BTW, I CRUSHED Michigan with ease on Heisman, really suprised me actually can't wait to play SC... My game with KU against Central Michigan was prob. my hardest other than the Purdue game.


NOW, here's the thing, has anyone else (playing on Heisman) had issuses with INT's??? It's CRAZY how easy to CPU picks off anything thrown over 20 yards... if they are in zone they pick EVERYTHING!!! There is no such thing as "stone hands" on defense this year either, if they touch it, they pick it... Actually if it weren't for this fact I would OWN again on this game... I average two three red zone TO's a game

Jimmy's got 8-8 for about 900 yards up to UCLA right now... I have actually thought of playing on All American but since I am still winning I haven't done that and probably won't
