I guess when the Tribe won the World Series in 1948 karma was okay with the old logo? There is a simple solution to all of this, though, that has rarely been discussed.

Let's not despair too much. There are missing pieces at the moment, but hopefully those will be in place by next year, and everybody will stay healthy. Even if the current team was healthy I think the Cavs would get to a 7th game against what is supposedly the third greatest team of all time (according to Nate Silver's machine).

This shell of a team was 2 inches from winning last night. If you add an actually healthy Kyrie, Kevin Love, and Andy to this team id be shocked if the Warriors pushed us to 6. If this team can stay healthy next year everyone better watch out. This season has done nothing but make this group more hungry and determined.

Golden state was uncharacteristically cold in part because of the defense the Cavs were playing. Since the start of the playoffs the Cavs have had the best defense by far statistically.


And thats kinda my whole point LBJ doesn't have to put up 44 if you have a healthy Love and Irving

And you can't discount injuries. Every team has suffered injuries. I'm not sure that if the Spurs had been healthy all year that they wouldn't be in a third consecutive Finals.

When you say that you "can't discount injuries," do you mean to say something like "injuries are not an excuse for losing" (because every team has suffered them)? Every team suffers some injuries, but I am not aware of any team in the history of the NBA that has won the title without two of their three highest scoring players.
