It wasn’t that big of a drama. Yes, we flipped him. He was an EE. If I remember correctly, there was a picture of the EEs in front of a Christmas tree and he looked so short/skinny.

Not similar at all. He's been committed to the Buckeyes for a long-time, and despite visiting USC and Oregon a few times after his commitment, he stopped taking visits after February this past year.

He has a long standing relationship with Hartline, who is the best developer for WRs. I'd be unsure if Hartline took another job, too.

The coaching change is a new variable but also an easy excuse to start a bidding war. The hat ceremony was scheduled well before Hartline news and Oregon and USC have been talked about for a while as flipping him.
