Is anybody else really eager to see the polls come out tomorrow? I know it's early in the year but still, a lot happened this past weekend.
Where is OSU? Being the sixth best team in the country and barely, just barely, beating a Navy team when you are close to 3 touchdown favorites, something has got to change. Personally they should drop to number 9 or so, buuuuuuut, they wont drop that far because a number 3 USC vs a number 7 OSU sounds better for TV.
Oklahoma. They were number 3, lost their Heisman winning QB and lost by 1 point to the 20th ranked BYU cougars. Speaking of BYU, where the hell will they be ranked? I think OU drops to 9 (great with Bradford, not as good without him, he'll be back) while BYU moves up to 12.
Oregon looked horrible, I expect them to drop to 24 or 25 or completely out of the polls. Boise State looked good with a stifling defense, I expect them to move up to number 10.
Iowa got lucky, twice, by an unranked team, I say they are out of the top 25.
I think Bama's win was a little impressive, moves them to the number 4 spot while USC climbs to number 3. VaTech drops to 13 in my opinion.
Oklahoma State is pretty dang good in my opinion. They beat a mighty SEC team in Georgia. I say they move up to 5, Georgia moves down to 17th.
I think ND moves up, but not too much. If they beat UM and MSU then they'll jump more.
So here is what I expect come tomorrow.
1. Florida
2. Texas
3. USC
4. Alabama
5. Oklahoma St.
6. Ole Miss
7. OSU
8. Penn St.
9. Cal
10. Boise State
11. LSU
12. BYU
13. VaTech
14. Georgia Tech
15. Utah
16. TCU
17. Georgia
18. North Carolina
19. Notre Dame
20. Florida State
21. Nebraska
22. Kansas
23. Michigan St.
24. Missouri

Let the discussion begin. (It's harder putting together a top 25 than it looks.)
