USAF is a 3 point favorite on Saturday. Unprecedented?

Back to the post. They might be a 3 point favorite but they do not run a gimmic offense, navy, so we should overwelm them with our size and athletic ability. I think we will win by atleast 10. Take that to the bank. ND's D will show up and the QB for Air Force, will be in PAIN. This is not me being a homer, this is the truth. They cannot stop a 3 man rush and any blitzes will get through.

On Offense I think we will pound the ball and our line will overwelm them to the point we get 5+ yards a carry. Expect last weeks Offense and the D will step up. Itellthetruth is also a douche.

Kaplan sold me on it! Irish by at least 10 pts. ... I'll deposit on that one!

Oh yeah, regarding Itellthetruth is also a douche , I concur!!

I believe the key to this game will be turnovers, ball control, and field goals. I think it will be very close. If Air Force runs the ball with the occasional surprise pass for a score, while eating up the clock, and does not have any turnovers, then they will win.

Also, I think Air Force is going to try an onside kick or two, and maybe even a fake field goal for a TD early in the game in an attempt to confuse the ND offense. And don't be surprised if the AF defense rises to the occasion with some QB sacks of their own. They are quick.

ND has a much bigger offensive and defensive line than AF, but so does nearly every team AF plays. Air Force wins 30-27. [As long as they don't fumble the ball--which is my main concern.]

The Irish defense is the key. IF they are able to come in and make the plays to hold AF to an "average" offensive output, the Irish win. The Irish SHOULD be able to move the ball, as they did against Navy, based on a talented backfield and using size and brute force on the OL. Throw is some crisp passing routes to keep them honest ... the ball keeps moving. The question is, can the D do a better job of controlling the AF offense than what they did against Navy (damn those guys were quick through the holes)!
