I salute you, Admiral BackHindQuarters!
I spent (well, mind you) an hour or so looking for and listening to versions of "This Train Is Bound For Glory."
A good song regardless of generation or genre.
My son and I listen to the song in the car. It makes drives pleasant.
Take advantage of time in the car with your son. As my son and I both grew up (child is father to the man and all that jazz) conversations while driving were often the most concentrated moments we spent together.
He'll be 24 soon. The 16 hours spent driving to and from South Bend for the Utah game this past November were golden.
Well, except for the wall of plowed snow blocking my driveway when we got home.
.. but they need a stronger voice.
SirDishands might like it. Where the heck is TMQ10? Some serious good stuff here...
The mandolin is a sweet instrument.
I need to get into a folk group as well as duo I'm already fronting.
I pledge half of my vBucks to help you buy a vMandolin and to front you the vCost of how ever many vHours it might take for you to lay down a vTrack of value in a vStudio.
Keep on pickin' and a grinnin'!
I'll post some video of us at some point
Now that you mention Spirit:But spirit is something that no one destroys

Herd it from start to my end. Sole music. I have a pet sole in the fish tank.

I know there's some folks that love this song. And I know there's some hippies on this board.
Here's something for both of you.
Jerry plays this about as slow as you can...and I love it.
