Is it a coincidence that the most success we have had moving the ball on offense is when we spread the boys out and sling it? The only way we moved the ball on Michigan State was when we went with 5-wide. Then, in the red zone, on a crucial third down, we went back to that worthless "pro-set" with two wide receivers and failed and all but cost us the game.
Personally, I believe that spreading it out is the thing to do. This isn't the NFL, this is college football, and the spread has proven to be effective, very effective.
Just my honest opinion.
